Board Certified in Psychiatry

Update Website_heic.avif

I’m Dr. Aditya Vora, a board-certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Originally from Long Island, NY, I pursued my medical education in Florida, where I completed medical school, residency, and established my practice. I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, panic disorders, OCD, depression, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia.

I find deep fulfillment in seeing my patients improve and strive to foster a sense of purpose, belonging, and overall well-being. My approach to care is inclusive and judgment-free, respecting cultural, racial, religious, gender, and other diversities. I tailor treatment to each individual’s preferences, whether through traditional psychiatric methods, integrative and complementary medicine, or a combination of approaches.

I earned my medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and, in addition to patient care, I enjoy mentoring future physicians as an Affiliated Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

"As an osteopathically trained physician, I take a holistic approach to treatment, considering the whole person. I recognize the strong, interconnected relationship between the mind and body and advocate for a balanced approach that includes diet, exercise, therapy, and the conservative use of medication to support mental health."

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with three years of experience in advanced practice, built on over eight years of dedicated work in mental health and more than a decade in nursing overall. I have had the privilege of caring for individuals across a wide range of settings, including outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization centers, and correctional environments, which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique stories and challenges each person brings to treatment.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based care, while also emphasizing warmth, collaboration, and trust. I believe the best outcomes happen when patients feel heard and actively involved, so I work closely with each person to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and values.

In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an adjunct clinical instructor, where I enjoy mentoring and supporting the growth of future nursing professionals. Teaching has further strengthened my belief in compassionate, patient-centered care and lifelong learning.
